What ClarAI is

ClarAI measures how brands appear in answers from AI assistants and helps them act on it. It asks the questions a brand's buyers ask, keeps every answer word for word, shows which brands are named and which pages are cited, and drafts the fixes for a person to review. It is in early access, built by SCOOCS in Portugal, and has no customers to refer you to yet.

How we measure

ClarAI reads three engines today: ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude, through the vendors' official APIs, with Claude answering from a live web search. Google AI Overviews is built but not switched on yet. Perplexity and Google AI Mode are not monitored. We never use a logged-in personal session, so a reading can differ from what one signed-in person sees.

The same question gets different answers from one run to the next, so every number we show carries its sample: how many answers it was measured from, on which engines and when. The method is written up on how we measure, step by step and in our manifesto.

Our data and method policy

When we publish a number, we publish the sample size, the engines, the dates and what the number cannot tell you. We do not quote figures from studies we have not finished or published. A figure from someone else carries its source, and we say when we could not verify it ourselves.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we correct it in the open, mark the page with a dated note and list it on our corrections page, which also explains how to report an error.
